Descritpion:
OJEMDA, a targeted therapy designed specifically for children battling pediatric low grade glioma (pLGG). This innovative treatment offers hope and precision in the fight against this challenging form of childhood cancer. OJEMDA is designed to shrink pLGG tumors with a BRAF fusion or a BRAF V600E mutation, 2 of the most common BRAF changes.
My journey began with a deep dive into understanding the intricacies of pediatric low grade glioma and its impact on young patients and their families. I identified caregivers, medical professionals, and advocates as our primary audience, recognizing their crucial role in the care ecosystem.

Researching extensively, I uncovered the main pain points faced by caregivers and patients: navigating complex treatment options, managing emotional stress, and seeking reliable resources. This informed the mission to create multiple tools that not only provide therapeutic solutions but also support the holistic well-being of those affected.

My strategy revolves around empowering caregivers and their children with accessible resources and tools that alleviate daily challenges. By fostering a community-driven approach, I aimed to lift spirits, foster resilience, and enhance quality of life. Through strategic partnerships and educational initiatives, OJEMDA aspires to be more than a treatment provider, but a compassionate ally in their journey.
